Abstract: With the continuous improvement of mechanization degree of coal mine, the original flameproof diesel engine which are equipped with mechanical fuel injection pumps can not satisfy the requirements of the coal mine, in this context, flameproof electronic control diesel engine emerge at the historic moment. In this paper, the selection of the control form of the flameproof electronic control diesel engine and some advantages of its own are described; Through the application of coal mine underground, some problems in the application of flameproof electric control diesel engine are analyzed and the corresponding improvement measures are taken. The applicable conditions of the flameproof electronic control diesel engine and its application prospect in China are put forward.
